Sunday May 4th, the Club Joined forces with Neath Harriers to compete in the UK Young Athletes League at Swansea .What was a very good day for our Athletes, with many P.B's, Llanelli/Neath finished not that far behind Bridgend. If more places can be filled on the day, there is a possibbility that we can win. Results
11th May 2008 West Wales Track & Field Champs at Carmarthen
Sat 17th Boy & Girls Clubs of Wales fixture at Aberdare.
Llanelli Athletes competed for the Swansea area, at the above meeting . Due to a NYA fixture the next day,there was only a handfull off Athletes competing. Results
Sunday 1st June, again we will be joining up with Neath Harriers ,to compete in the NYA League, Hereford.There will be a bus provided for the journey ,contact Sara ,for details
The last few weeks, have been very busy for Llanelli Athletes of all ages. Last Sunday 29th June , we attended the Louise Arthur fixture at Swansea. With a large amount of Llanelli Athletes (26);we headed Div 2 at the end of the day- Boys result, Girls result.
With a fixture at Barry next Sunday 13th,we hope to continue our success, A bus will leave Stebo at 9.30am, returning at approx 6.30pm,fare is £3.
Last Sat, the Welsh Schools Champs were held at Brecon; In the Senior Boys, Jamie Steadman, running in the 400MH, finished in 3rd place, thus picking up the Bronze Medal .Liam Lloyd running in the Junior Boys 1500mts, finished 5th,with a good time of 4.41.01min.
Donna Jones and Emily Downey, who both have been in producing good form picked up Silver medals. Donna in the Triple Jump and Emily in the 1500mts,in turn ,creating a new Club record of 4.54.3mins.

Sunday 6th July ,it was the turn of the Senior Athletes, Competing at Brecon (again).Some of the Athletes who turned out on the Saturday, again, showing their elegance, made up the Team.
A fine performance, by James Thomas, Running as a Senior ,broke the Club’s U17 men 100mts,in a time of 11.3 secs,which helped the Club to finish 4th place on the day. Results -Men, Women.
12th July 3 Llanelli Athletes, competed at the U17/U20 Welsh Athletics Track & Field Championships, held at the Deeside track.
Kara Stedman competing in the 17 TJ ,finished 4th, jumping 9.51mts, to just miss out on a medal.
Donna Jones, in theU20 TJ, won a Bronze, with a leap of 10.5mts.
Jamie Stedman was 5th in the 400H,and 9th in the TJ.
Sunday 13th July, Today at Barry, we fielded one of the strongest teams(32 Athletes),in the 3rd fixture of the Louise Arthur League.
After winning the last meeting at Swansea ,again, we were to strong for the opposition, winning by a large margin. The final results will be finalised, towards the end of week .Girls, Boys, Tables
